Dr. Courtney Johnson Rose is the CEO of George E. Johnson Development Inc., a full-service real estate firm specializing in community development services, owner representation, master planning, and residential and commercial brokerage services. Founded in 1974, GEJ has a total project volume exceeding one billion dollars. Courtney is also part of the Community Collective for Houston, which recently acquired The Power Center, a 110,000-square-foot multipurpose facility that includes a small business incubator, event center, urban farm, and private school. Courtney is the immediate past chair of the Texas Association of African American Chambers, a statewide network of over 25 Black chambers of commerce.
