Dr. Brandeis Marshall is CEO of DataedX, an executive training firm that advances the data science capabilities of the everyday professional. Originally trained as a computer scientist, Dr. Marshall’s work sits at the intersection of data equity, data engineering, and culturally responsive pedagogy. A thought leader in broadening participation in data science, Dr. Marshall discusses the racial, gender, socioeconomic, and socio-technical impact of data in technology for organizations like the ACLU, Harvard, Visa, Stanford, and Truist. She has appeared in Medium, OneZero, The Moguldom Nation, and on CNN. Her first book, expected release in mid-2022, investigates the interlocking computational and civic impact of data, algorithms, and society.
