Askia Ahmad
Askia Ahmad is a global IT director with Flint Hills Resources, LLC, a subsidiary of Koch Industries Inc. He recently held a similar position with Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC spanning four years. Previously, Askia worked as a consultant with Market-Based Management, LLC and began his career with Koch companies in 2005 at INVISTA, where he held roles in market analysis, commercial development and human resources.
Askia has been recognized as one of Wichita Business Journal’s 40 under 40 as well as honored by The Community Voice with the Corporate Standout award and recently by Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority with the Golden Eagle Service Award. Askia’s community involvement includes serving as president of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity’s Alpha Nu Boule and he is the president of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity’s Wichita Alumni chapter. He also serves on the Greater Wichita YMCA Board of Directors and is a Board of Trustees member at Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a founding member of the Young Leaders Impact Board of the Boys and Girls Club of South Central Kansas.
Askia graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in information systems.
