Community & Family Day Expo

Community Day brings the energy, culture, and opportunity of Nashville together in one vibrant, family-friendly experience. Each year, the National Urban League, as part of its annual conference and Expo, dedicates Community Day to our host city, and in 2026, the focus is on Nashville's youth —celebrating their creativity, commitment to service, and capacity to lead.

Collaborating with local schools, youth organizations, family service partners, and corporate allies, the event will feature a large-scale backpack and school-supply giveaway with products from leading local businesses.

Attendees will also enjoy fitness and wellness sessions, grooming and beauty demos, financial literacy pop-ups, and youth-focused empowerment activities. Community Day celebrates the best of Nashville by investing in its families and future leaders.

The Health Corner — Community Edition brings preventive care directly to the community through free blood pressure and BMI screenings provided by local nursing students and clinic partners. Designed to feel welcoming and accessible, this activation empowers participants with a clear snapshot of their health while removing common barriers to care. Each guest receives a personalized Wellness Card documenting their results, along with a QR code linking them to nearby health centers for continued support. By repurposing familiar Health Corner furnishings and updating signage to “Free Community Screenings,” this space reinforces that proactive health care is for everyone—and starts right here in the community.
