From consumer product marketing to high-stakes crisis media messaging, success is determined by who controls the narrative. But for too long, Black publicists have been underrepresented in the field, leaving the door open to misinformation and missed opportunities to connect positively with diverse audiences. Enter The Publicists Forum (TPF). Founded in 2020 when the globe was deep in the throes of the COVID pandemic, TPF brought together four publicists – all women of color – to establish a support group and online community dedicated to amplifying Black narratives. Join TPF’s dynamic women founders for an engaging discussion about breaking media trends, messaging best practices, and the importance of Black voices in shaping perception and championing truth.
