The National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP) will always have a special place in my heart. Most importantly, this organization allowed my husband to find me. From a professional perspective, this organization taught me how to be a leader. It taught me how to engage diverse populations. This work ignited my love for fundraising and friendraising. I will always credit the Urban League for equipping me with the tools and skills necessary to lead regardless of my environment. I'm excited to celebrate 20 years of a movement that has birthed so many amazing alumni, who truly care about the future of our black and brown communities across the country.
