Wendy Blocker
Wendy Blocker is the Campus Relations Manager for U.S. Bank. She has worked in the field for the last 19 years, in several capacities. In October 2016, Wendy was hired to lead and build out the U.S. Bank internship program within the St. Louis Market. She is responsible for leading a team which builds strong relationships on college campuses with university administrators, recruits and identifies top entry-level talent, and facilitates a robust 12 week summer internship program experience. In addition to her role as Campus Relations Manager, she also co-leads the St. Louis Diversity and Inclusion Ambassadors program for high potential employees.
Prior to coming to U.S. Bank, Wendy spent 5 years at Edward Jones in University Recruiting focusing on diversity recruiting and initiatives. She was responsible for the recruitment of both undergraduate and MBA level talent to the organization for internships and full-time leadership development programs. She also has a strong foundation of engaging college level students and administrators with 13 years of work experience in Higher Education, at three universities, as a Career Services Administrator.
Wendy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Management and a Master’s degree in Career Counseling from Missouri State University. In addition, she is a Certified Diversity Recruiter. Wendy has served on several leadership committees and boards. She currently sits on the board of the National Association of African American in Human Resources as the Co-Vice President of Marketing and Communication. She is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
