Rynthia M. Rost
Vice President, Public Affairs/Geico

Rynthia Rost joined Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO) as vice president for public affairs in 1994. Her duties include serving on the board of the GEICO companies and the GEICO Philanthropic Foundation and directing the company’s cause marketing, community affairs, and community volunteer activities. 

 Rost is a graduate of Fisk University and Indiana University School of Law. She has received the Indiana University Distinguished Service Award; the International Dialogue on Diversity Mentorship Award; the Community Partner Award from Mentor’s Inc.; and the National “Service to Youth Award” from the National Boys and Girls Clubs of America. She is a fellow of the Justice and Society Program of the Aspen Institute, and the Brookings Institute’s Council and a member of the Minority Corporate Lawyers Association and the Association of Corporate Lawyers of America.

Rost serves on the board of directors of the Washington Board of Trade, the EconomicClub, and the Federal City Council. She is vice president and member of the executive board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and is a director of the Washington Urban League and a member of the Urban Leagues affiliates in Washington, DC, and Essex County, New Jersey.
