Michael H. Casson Jr. - Dean of the College of Business at Delaware State University Dr. Michael H. Casson Jr. is the Dean of the College of Business at Delaware State University (DSU). Known as an "out of the box," entrepreneurial thinker, Dr. Casson serves in a variety of roles, including as the Principal Investigator (PI) of the Delaware State University Center for Economic Development and International Trade (UCEDIT), Principal of Oyate Solutions, LLC and has even led GIS Asset Mapping for US territories. Locally, Dr. Casson serves as President and Co-Founder of the Delaware Multicultural and Civic Organization (DEMCO), a non-profit corporation focused on spurring economic, community and educational development in Delaware’s local communities. In addition, he is an Associate Professor of Economics and internationally, Dr. Casson has been tapped to support economic development in West Africa. Dr. Casson earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics (minor Mathematics) from Florida A&M University, a Master of Arts in Economics (specializing in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Ph.D. in Agriculture and Resource Economics (specializing in Econometrics, Linear Programming, Public Finance and Industrial Organization) from the University of Connecticut.
