Institute For Women offers retreats, workshops, seminars, coaching, and mentoring programs focused heavily on relationships, love, life, and spiritual development.

With 20 years of combined educational, counseling, and spiritual coaching experience, Lakara has helped hundreds to tackle real life issues allowing them to become victorious over sexual abuse, drug abuse, low self-esteem, and other barriers standing in the way of their greatness.

Lakara is the author of The Grown Woman’s Guide to Greatness, God’s Whispers to The Grown Woman, and The Day the Truth Was Told: Poetic Confessions of a Liar. She Speaks! Lakara Foster is a native of New Orleans, LA, and holds a B.S. in Psychology, a B.S. in Criminal Justice, and an M. Ed. in Counseling Education from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida.
