Jimmy Prude is the Founder | CEO of Jimmy's Vegan ® a vegan foods company connecting everyday people to Healthy & Delicious. After working for Microsoft in Seattle, Jimmy returned to Chicago becoming an educator at a technology charter school and soon after a Community Organizer, for Chicago’s South side Auburn Gresham and Englewood neighborhoods. During his time as an organizer, he launched Jimmy’s Vegan Cookies™ to fill a void in the market for great tasting vegan products. His goal was to provide a healthy and delicious introduction for the community he worked and lived in to the world of vegan foods.
Since 2012 Jimmy’s Vegan Cookies has satisfied thousands of customers all across America, both online and offline with A Guilt Free Indulgence™. In 2018 Jimmy launched Jimmy's Vegan LLC, using the funds awarded from the 2017 National Urban League Pitch Competition. This new growth will allow for Jimmy to expand current product availability, engage new markets, introduce newer products, and continue connecting with everyday people more personally. Jimmy's Vegan Cookies are currently sold in Whole Foods Market, Sugar Beet Food Co-Op, and Online.
