Gerome Daren Sapp is the Founder & CEO of RARES, the first alternative asset marketplace exclusively for sneakers investments. RARE’s mission is to leverage the cultural zeitgeist of sneakers to increase financial literacy and empower the communities that birthed sneaker culture with a new tool to acquire financial freedom, one share at a time. Born and raised in Houston, was Team Captain and All American at the University of Notre Dame before being drafted by the NFL in 2003. In addition to his six-year pro career playing for the Minnesota Ravens and the Indianapolis Colts, Gerome earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2005. Gerome’s other business ventures include HealthBinge, a healthy alternative to food-on-the-run, and Fluencr, an online content and social media platform.
