A dreamer, an optimist, and a people person, D’Juan Rudolph’s greatest strength lies in his ability to build and maintain relationships across all demographics and personalities, utilizing his focused but upbeat and refreshing energy that emboldens people to be themselves, communicate freely, and conduct business more effectively. His resilience, work ethic, and determination reflect the influence of the woman who raised him—his grandmother Wilma Rudolph, an internationally renowned Olympian who was the first American woman to win three gold medals in track and field during a single Olympic game. With a love of learning new things and a keen interest in continuous self-improvement, D’Juan embodies the spirit of kaizen, making him the perfect fit for his role as Manager of Multicultural Dealer Relations and Strategy for Toyota Motor North America, where he leverages his collaborative and leadership skills and passion for balancing equity to grow and support diverse dealers and build brand awareness in the multicultural space. After graduating from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geography, D’Juan, a Detroit native, began his career as a program manager with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. In this role, he quickly moved up the ranks, managing facilities, parking, and overseeing staff responsible for innovative updates in the agency’s infrastructure programs, as well as leveraging staffing and resources to meet diversity and inclusion goals. Concurrently, as business development manager for RINDOX Solutions, D’Juan honed his skills in the automotive industry, managing events and meetings for NCNW, NAMAD, and TLMODA. While D’Juan personally knows that hardship fosters strength and fortitude, he takes satisfaction in making a positive impact on others, whether through his role at TMNA enhancing opportunities for marginalized groups, campaigning for Congresswoman Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick as a teen, or volunteering in his mosque today. An avid reader, boxing fan, and poet, D’Juan lives by the words of his late grandmother: “Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit.”
