Carlos Watson is an entrepreneur, Emmy-winning journalist, and the co-founder and CEO of OZY, a multi-platform media company that “helps curious people see a broader and bolder world.” A former kindergarten dropout turned Harvard grad and Stanford attorney, Watson has become an international media brand. He is a former contributor on MSNBC and anchor on CNN, and has hosted numerous OZY TV shows for Hulu, Amazon Prime, PBS, BBC Worldwide, A&E, History, and the Oprah Winfrey Network. The latter of won an Emmy in 2020 for Outstanding News Discussion and Analysis. He currently hosts “The Carlos Watson Show,” hailed as fastest-growing talk show in YouTube history. Featured guests include Padma Lakshmi, Tomi Lahren, Pete Buttigieg, Baker Mayfield, Gabrielle Union, and Caitlyn Jenner. Prior to founding OZY, he co-founded Achieva College Prep Service, which he later sold to The Washington Post/Kaplan. He is also one of the youngest members on the board of NPR and was named “busiest man in media” by LinkedIn and “the best interviewer on TV” by Deadline. He has also hosted multiple podcasts for OZY.
