Ms. Anderson is the Senior Manager of Multicultural Affairs for Marriott International, supporting Marriott’s Senior Vice President of Multicultural Affairs, Social Impact and Business Councils. In her role, she executes a global strategy that builds brand reputation and an inclusive environment through partnering with corporate media relations, Marriott’s continent communications disciplines, market leaders, and owner franchise services. She works with customers, owners, guests, and associations to further strengthen Marriott’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy.

Prior to her current position, Cara Anderson was a Paralegal and Custodian of Record on Marriott’s Litigation Team. As Custodian of Record, Ms. Anderson was a Fact Witness and testified for the US Attorney’s office and other federal agencies on behalf of Marriott International, Inc.

Ms. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Rutgers University, and a Master of Science in Nutrition Education with a focus on Program Management from American University. A Certified Project Manager, she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and sits on the DC Regional Board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington.
