Anthony Frasier is a digital strategist, tech entrepreneur, author, and public speaker. A Newark, NJ native, Anthony has a long history of mentoring and advising startups & community infrastructures, to solve real problems and build solutions. Anthony has been instrumental in bringing up a new generation of black & minority technology leaders.
Frasier is formerly known for being one of the savvy founders of The Phat Startup, an integrated media company that produced resources for aspiring entrepreneurs. By leveraging Lean Startup methodology and drawing on the connections between entrepreneurship and hip hop, you can credit Frasier and his team for successfully creating the critically acclaimed Tech808 conference that featured some of the best minds in technology.
Anthony is a Board Member for the New York Tech Alliance, and his work has been featured on Fast Company, BET, CNN Black In America, CNN Money, and USA Today, just to name a few. Currently, Frasier is the Entrepreneur in Residence at Newark Venture Partners and has been invited to speak for leading organizations like The Congressional Black Caucus and TEDx. He was also named an innovator by AT&T, which highlighted black entrepreneurship to millions in an award-winning TV spot that aired nationally. Frasier is the author of “Dont Dumb Down Your Greatness - A Young Entrepreneur’s Guide to Thinking & Being Great”.
A serial entrepreneur, Anthony was the creator of a mobile startup Playd and established an award-winning gaming site TheKoalition.com. Today he is speaking and empowering entrepreneurs globally with a message of mixing hustle with personal development. He is also creating an education platform for aspiring game developers.
Outside of his work in the national startup and entrepreneurial scene, you can find him actively engaged with entrepreneurs in Newark, as the creator of the city’s first tech community Brick City Tech. His philanthropic initiatives have been recognized by the Business Outreach Center, where he was granted the Award for Entrepreneurship and Community Impact.
